FRS Engineering specializes on residential and commercial structural engineering across the Bay Area and neighboring areas. We place upmost importance on collaborative design with clients to ensure the most cost-effective and efficient design.

We are a small local structural engineering firm based out of San Francisco. We are here to assist you getting your project started. We work with architects, contractors, and others on new construction, remodels, additions, seismic retrofits, retaining walls, and more.

We strive for honesty and clarity. Our first job is to understand the client’s vision and needs, not to present our own. We value timeliness and direct communication over presentations, as well as the occasional face-to-face meeting over a drink or a meal.

Over the years, we have been fortunate to collaborate with some excellent clients on some wonderful projects across the Bay Area, but we believe it is still too early to weigh in on the success of the work. A building exists in time and its usefulness is directly related to how well it continues to perform.
